Mr. Russell Talbert received his B.A. degree in dance and theatre from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. He studied ballet at Stone & Camryn School of Ballet and Boistov School of Ballet in Chicago. He danced with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, The San Antonio Ballet, American Dance Ensemble, Joseph Holmes Dance Theatre, and the Chicago Dance Medium.
His repretoire includes principle roles in the Nutcracker, Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, and Coppelia. Mr. Talbert choreographed the Wheeling West Virginia Synphony Orchestra in its children's program entitled 'The Lollypop Festival." Additionally, he choreographed the Soul Children of Chicago's presentation of "The Wiz".
Mr. Talbert taught dance at the Joseph Holmes Dance Theatre, Chicago Dance Medium Sammy Dyer School of Theatre, and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. He is presently instructing at the Russell Talbert Dance Studio in Chicago.
